St Mary’s is recruiting a Children and Families Minister
We seek an experienced and creative leader as our Children and Families minister to enable the discipleship of children and families on Sundays and throughout the week. The Children and Families Minister will be responsible for the discipleship and evangelism pathways for children, play an important part in our schools ministry, and engage with our preschool and holiday play scheme.
The role is in the St Mary’s congregational team, is fulltime and has a salary of up to £32,000. Head over to the ‘Join our team’ section of our website for more information on how to apply.

Addressed to his four-year-old daughter, this decidedly upbeat documentary offers a constructive manifesto for combating climate change. He's no academic: a lot of his advice comes down to common sense.

St Mary Islington hosts priesting service for 17 ordinands across Two Cities and Stepney areas
On Saturday 17 June St. Mary's Church, Upper Street welcomed over 450 people to the ordination of priests by The Rt Revd and Rt Hon. Dame Sarah Mullally, Bishop of London. 17 ordinands were ordained as priests and are now able to offer communion at church services and officiate at wedding ceremonies. Two of those being ordained, Freya Bradley and Josh Richards, are currently serving as curates at St Mary's on Upper Street.
