Free Friday Lunchtime Recital: Dialogo

  • St Mary's Church Upper Street London, England, N1 United Kingdom (map)

Dialogo: Nathanael Horton cello, Chloé Dumoulin piano

Dialogo

Come and experience this explosive, passionate and capricious programme of two powerful and deeply moving sonatas. The Brahms is considered one of the greatest duos for piano and cello, full of youthful energy and conversational interplay between the two instruments. The Ligeti, for solo cello, is a dialogue within itself that explores the very limits of the expressive and virtuosic elements of the instrument. All in all, there is a taste for everyone in this programme, from the meditative atmosphere to the tumultuous fire.

Our eleventh free concert will take place on Friday 15 November 2024: Dialogo. Nathanael Horton cello, Chloé Dumoulin piano
