We are delighted to welcome Antoine Pichon back to perform after his well-received recital last year. Come and be transported by works of pianistic virtuosity from two masters of the instrument, Mozart and Medtner.

You are invited to our St Mary’s Festival family fun day.
It’s free. Bring your family, friends and neighbours.

An evening of cello at St Mary's with Angel Tarpov and Tom Jesty
Come and hear Bulgarian born cellist Angel Tarpov in a free evening recital in St Mary’s Church. Angel will be accompanied by pianist Tom Jesty in repertoire by J.S. Bach, Joseph Haydn, and Gabriel Fauré. The programme will feature audience favourites such as Bach’s Air on the G string and the Swan from Saint-Saens’ Carnival of the Animals, along with less well known repertoire. The evening will end with a selection of Angel’s own compositions.
1 hour 15 mins, including an interval. This event is free and you do not need a ticket.

St Mary's Festival: Islington boundary walk
Discover the extremities of our Borough 23k or 14miles starting from St Mary’s. Islington comprises the historic parish of St Mary Islington plus the former Borough of Finsbury, an area better known today as Clerkenwell.
We will circumnavigate Islington in a clockwise direction via the edge of the City to Kings Cross, then north to Highgate and Stroud Green, turning southeast to Finsbury Park, Newington Green, Southgate Road and back along Regents Canal to St Mary’s.
Join for the whole walk or come for just part. Bring good walking shoes, water, picnic lunch which we aim to have in Dartmouth Park at about 1pm. You can leave or join the walk here at the half way point.

Evening of poerty and music celebrating God's creation
We are delighted to welcome you to St Mary's for a free evening of music and poetry celebrating God's creation. The event will feature performances by the St Mary's Church Choir alongside musicians from our church community and local ensembles.

St Mary's Festival: A night at the opera
Uncovered Opera Company will perform a one act version of Richard Strauss' popular opera Ariadne auf Naxos. Set in a Greek taverna, this popular masterpiece will be sung in German with English surtitles. Light refreshments will be served.
The performance will last one hour and 15 minutes without an interval.
This is a free event - bring a friend or two.

St Mary's Festival: Showing of An Inconvenient Truth: Al Gore's prescient film about the climate crisis
An Inconvenient Truth is a 2006 American film directed by Davis Guggenheim about former United States Vice President Al Gore's campaign to educate people about global warming. The film features a slide show that, by Gore's own estimate, he has presented over 1,000 times to audiences worldwide. It is a prescient film which The Observer has recently recommended as: "Best for: A straight-up, bullet-point breakdown of the facts."
Showing will start at 7pm, 1 hour 35 minutes followed by vegan refreshments.

You are invited to our St Mary’s Festival family fun day with two bouncy castles, live music, face-painting, treasure hunt, the Little Angel Theatre, as well as a free forecourt café serving afternoon tea.
It’s all free too, so bring your family, friends and neighbours.
