The Wagner Harp Duo, consisting of twin sisters Vanessa and Verena Wagner, was established in 2010. Since then, they have impressed audiences with their precise technique, musicality, and perfect ensemble playing. Their goal is to promote the harp duo as a recognized ensemble in chamber music and secure its place in the music world.
The sisters received their musical education at prestigious music schools in Berlin, Detmold, Paris, London, and Zurich. This year, they were awarded the 1st prize at the 1st International Harp Competition Angel Padilla Crespo. The duo has performed in numerous concert halls in Germany and across Europe. Their repertoire spans works from various eras and styles, ranging from Baroque music to contemporary compositions. With their dedication and pursuit of high musical quality, they set standards in harp music and reach a wide audience.
Come and be delighted by high quality classical performances in our beautiful church. The concerts will take place on the third Friday of every month at 1.15pm with free hot drinks and cake served from 12.45pm.
