Act of Remembrance

Let us remember before God, and commend to his sure keeping:
Those who have died for their country,
those whom we know, and whose memory we treasure,
and all who have lived and died in the service of others.

The silence

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
