St Mary’s supports Choices Islington

Donated items sought to support local families via Choices Boutique.

St Mary’s has partnered with Choices, a local Islington charity offering support through unplanned pregnancy and giving practical and emotional help with parenting. We are appealing for pre-loved clothing and equipment for babies and children up to four years old.

St Mary’s is hosting two donation days on Sunday 9 and Monday 10 June to collect great quality second hand and new clothing and equipment for new and young families in Islington. Items can be donated to St Mary’s Church, Upper Street, N1 2TX, and will be taken to the Choices’ Boutique so that other families who need these items can collect them for free.

Clothing requests:

  • One to four year old girls clothing only

  • Two to four year old boys clothing only

Equipment requests:

  • Buggies

  • Moses baskets, travel cots and next to me cribs

  • Baby slings/carriers

  • Unopened toiletries for baby, toddler & parents

  • Blankets, towels, sheets

  • Weaning items (bowls, spoons, cups, bottles)

It is important that all donated items are in excellent condition so that people feel good about receiving them. Please check thoroughly before donating, making sure that any and all clothes and equipment are clean, stain-free, fully functioning and look good. Please sort clothes by size and label bags if possible.
